Arfa Karim Randhawa,  generally famous for being world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professionals, has passed away. She was from Pakistan and she managed to pass the MCP’s exam in 2004, when she was  just 9 year old.Her talent was acknowledged both on national and international level. And got the coverage, fame and good repute just in that little age, which people usually get after their 40s. Her name is also mentioned in Guinness book of world records. Her aims for IT and Microsoft was very high but due to her illness, the world lost this shining star.

After battling for life for 26 days, one of Pakistan`s brightest brains left this world for good..

Her talent was acknowledged both on national and international level. And got the coverage, fame and good repute just in that little age, which people usually get after their 40s. Her name is also mentioned in Guinness book of world records. Her aims for IT and Microsoft was very high but due to her illness, the world lost this shining star.
Arfa’s Life
She was born in 2 February, 1995 and she passed MCPs exam in 2oo4.  She was student of second year of A’Level in Lahore Grammer School Lahore . Her aims were very high and she wanted and wished to do some different and some unique in her life. She was a big keen of IT and she loved it very much. But her life did not allowed her to do some more in IT . On December 22, 2011 she suffered with epileptic seizure and cardiac arrest. Her condition was very critical and she was also in coma, her brain was not working. A panel of Pakistani and American doctors were checking and caring her full time. But her condition was same. 2 weeks ago, some parts of her brain showed signs for improvements. But nobody knew she will always leave the world alone, this is what is called fate. Her parents and family members were having hope she will improve soon and she will to go India to attend the program of NASA. And they had hoped she will improve soon. During this illness and coma she died January 14, 2012.
This is all the  life story of famous star Arfa Karim which was too short and which ends only on 16 years. But in these 16 years she got a lot of prizes and medals and much more, which is very difficult to get  in short period for anyone. And many people got a lot of awards but for this they spent a long period of their lives. A very less people of the world who got these awards but may be it is challenge for whole world that some one will get these awards in young age and in short period. And this diamond period was a part of Arfa Karim’s life.
Awards and Certificates of Arfa

Arfa Karim Randhawa awarded many time in Pakistan and also in world. A long detail list of awards are these Fatima Jinnah gold medal in field of Science and technology, Saalam Pakistan Youth award, President’s Award for Pride of Performance (It is highest level civil award ), 2 time cash awards. She was also being awarded from Mir Khalil-ul-Rehman Foundation. And she gave many interviews in national and international channels.
She was invited in IT Professional Conference in Dubai and there she got many medals and certificates and received first flight certificate. She also attended Microsoft Tech-Ed Developers conference held in Barcelona.
The All-rounder Arfa
Arfa Karim was commonly known, but acually she was an all-rounder. Very few know that she was a poetess as well. Her poetry was mostly in English. And depth of thoughts expressed in her poetry was extremely mature, and it is diffucult to believe that such verses were said by someone at the age of 11 year.

Arfa Karim was an all-rounder. She was not just the IT expert. She has done some poetry as well. This is a poem she wrote at the age of approximately 11.
She also had professional pilot certificate and she has honour of gettit at the age of 10. She also flew a little Islamabad-Peshawar flight on our Cessna 172.

Arfa Karim Technology Park

On 15 January 2012, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced that the name of Lahore Technology Park would be changed to Arfa Karim Technology Park.
