And now 18-year-old Justin Beiber has revealed just what makes him such a good boyfriend.

The Canadian teen - who is dating Selena Gomez - lifted the lid on his relationship skills while promoting his new single, aptly called Boyfriend.

Speaking to Radio Disney yesterday, he described himself as ' loving and patient and kind and gentle'.

He went on: 'It’s just about being honest with one another.

'You just have to be honest, that’s the first thing, because if you’re not honest then the relationship is just not a good relationship.'

The Baby singer concluded: 'At the end of the day, your girl would appreciate you being honest more than lying to her and vice versa.'

The full interview airs during a week-long edition of Radio Disney’s Celebrity Take with Jake, broadcasting from 7am ET from April 9 to 13.

While Bieber's love life may my on form, the singer is facing some fresh legal woes and is being sued over a phone prank.

It comes after the pop sensation posted a telephone number to his 19 million followers on Twitter with the last two digits and urged fans to call him 'right now'.
