Nick Jonas has reportedly split from his girlfriend, Australian songbird Delta Goodrem

Sniff, sniff: This pop star's dalliance with a gal from Down Under just went under.

Nick Jonas has reportedly split from his girlfriend, Australian songbird Delta Goodrem.

The two had dated for a year.

Jonas' rep declined to comment, but Goodrem's spokesperson released this statement to People:

"Nick and Delta have decided to mutually end their relationship. At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths. They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future."

The two were first spotted together last May leaving an L.A. movie theater. And despite their age difference—he's now 19, she's 27—both managed to silence naysayers with what seemed like a sweet and under-the-radar relationship. (Sources told E! News back then that the two had actually been dating since March.)

The union quickly boosted Goodrem's profile, who's best known Stateside for singing on Dancing With the Stars. She remains a massive star in Australia, though, and is reportedly set to cohost the Australian import of The Voice with Keith Urban.

Jonas, meanwhile, is keeping himself equally busy: He's on stage in the current Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and appears in the backstage-on-Broadway TV series Smash.

He also just rented a $23,000-a-month pad in downtown Manhattan. Now, if only he had someone special to share it with…
