Miley Cyrus heads out to lunch in California yesterday with her pooch Floyd

The singer chatted away on her mobile phone as she strolled with a female friend

Miley was joined by three males as she made her way to Jinky's Studio cafe

Last weekend she took her dog for a run, but yesterday Miley Cyrus treated her pooch to some lunch.

The 19-year-old star was spotted heading to Jinky's Studio cafe in California accompanied by her Alaskan klee kai puppy Floyd.

Miley, who was looking slimmer than usual, clearly thought she deserved a day off from pilates and running and instead spent the day with her friends.

Wearing a very casual outfit of black leggings, a baggy grey jumper and plimsolls, it was clear to see that the Hannah Monata star's exercise regime has paid off.

Miley finished off her look with a pair of large sunglasses and of course the perfect accessory, Floyd.

The rescue dog looked like he was very much enjoying his walk, while Miley's two other dogs remained at home.
