Taylor Swift donned a pink tutu and a tiara over her dress on The Ellen Show today

Taylor's outfit matched the princess style outfits favoured by the British youngsters

Today's appearance was one of many the two youngsters have made on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

It was certainly not the kind of cutting edge TV interview Taylor Swift is used to.

But the 22-year-old Grammy Award winning singer gamely donned a pink tutu and tiara to sit down to tea and a chat with YouTube sensations Sophia Grace Brownlee and Rosie McClelland on The Ellen show today.

The star agreed to Rosie and Sophia's request to match their pretty pink outfits and sip tea while answering the youngsters' questions.

'You look beautiful in a tiara,' eight-year-old Sophia Grace told Taylor, who sat daintily opposite the girls in a section on the show called 'Tea time with Sophia Grace & Rosie.'

'You've got a pink tutu on and a lovely top,' added five-year-old Rosie.

The youngsters, who hail from Essex in the U.K, have been heavily featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show after their rendition of Nicki Minaj song Super Bass became a YouTube sensation.
