World's highest Buddha on cloud nine

The world's highest copper statue of Buddha neared the end of construction in Jiujiang, Jiangxi province.

The statue, 48 meters high, standing at the foot of the famous Mount Lushan, is said to be a religious masterpiece representing world's highest level. The unveiling ceremony is expected in April, 2012.
