Beyoncé is treating fans to a glimpse into her life with the launch of her new website

She and husband Jay-Z are notoriously tight-lipped when it comes to their relationship,

But it seems since sharing the first pictures of her baby Blue Ivy with her fans via her website, Beyoncé has developed a taste for the tech world.

The superstar singer today launched an expansive website for her fans and revealed the news by posting on her Twitter page for the very first time.

The tweet said: ‘Hey World, It's B! I'm so excited to invite you to my new http://beyonce.com - we've been working hard, and it's finally ready for you XO’

The state of the art website a vault of photo shoots, music videos and behind the scenes action, as well as a fan collective entitled Beyhive, a section dedicated to her music and a page of news stories.

However perhaps the most poignant part of the new venture is a section named I Am, which links to Beyoncé’s Tumblr account.

The microblogging platform is overflowing with personal photos of the star.

An introductory page reads: ‘This is my life, today, over the years – through my eyes. My family, my travels, my love. This is where I share with you, this will continue to grow as I do. Love Beyoncé.’

The images show the various parts of Beyoncé’s life, as a wife, mother, sister and performer.

One image shows the pop diva dressed in a Spiderwoman costume, while others show her relaxing on the beach in a bikini.

Perhaps the most touching photos are those that depict Beyoncé’s family life, from showing her relaxing with little sister Solange to cuddling up to Jay-Z.

She can also be seen in video footage acting out a secret handshake with fellow former Destiny's Chilr member Michelle Williams.

The website fittingly describes itself: ‘Beyoncé welcomes you to a newly personal view into her world, for you, by her.’
