An International Ceramics teapot exhibition had their grand opening ceremony on May 15th 2012.
"YeXiou International Ceramics art exhibition" includes almost 100 ceramics teapot pieces by major contemporary ceramics artists in the area.It also includes guest artists from US, Australia, Turkey, Korea, HongKong and Taiwan. The exhibition is at YeXiou ceramics studio & gallery, located in ChuangLing tea valley, HangZhou, China, a place that is famous for the top Chinese green tea - WestLake Dragon Well.
The exhibition runs from May 15th to 20th, with a number of special events scheduled. The exhibition focuses on reexamining our perspectives on traditional tea culture, tea objects and our relationship with tea culture in our own modern lives. It is exciting to bring the thinking of tea culture and energy with the exhibition. We hope that visitors will engage with the exhibition and the events that surround it in fun and meaningful ways with tea culture.
The exhibition also included Art Sale that inspired by local tea culture and art. The art sale includes handmade ceramics, jewelry, glass, and metal art. All of the artworks are created by students of China Academy of Art. Visitors can also have a hands on experience with ceramics wheel throwing, the preparation of tea and the making of tea.
