2nd round of Iran's parliamentary elections start

TEHRAN, May 4 (Xinhua) -- The 2nd round of Iranian parliamentary elections began on Friday morning, with some 48 million voters eligible to choose candidates for the remaining 65 seats in the parliament.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei cast his ballot shortly after the voting started at 8 a.m. (0330 GMT).
