This is the first official poster featuring Amanda Seyfried as porn star Linda Lovelace.
She's been spotted filming the controversial movie with co-star Peter Sarsgaard, who plays the adult actress's tyrannical husband Chuck Traynor, in Los Angeles.
The movie, titled Lovelace and due for release later this year, will chart the troubled relationship the Deep Throat star had with pornographer Traynor, she later blamed him for coercing her into the sex movie industry.
Deep Throat in 1972 was widely regarded as the first porn movie with an actual plot - Lovelace later alleged Traynor had forced her to do the film at gunpoint.
She further alleged he would beat her during their three year marriage in the early Seventies and force her into having sex with other men.
Sarsgaard,40, looks suitably Seventies when dressed for his role in pastel slacks and replete with facial hair, while James Franco,34, as a young Hugh Hefner looks positively angelic.
Demi Moore was signed up to the movie to play renowned feminist Gloria Steinem but was forced to pull out after she was admitted to rehab, Sarah Jessica Parker then took on the role.
Other stars involved in the project include Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple and Hank Azaria.
Lindsay Lohan was originally slated to play Lovelace but was reportedly sacked from the role after her ongoing legal problems.
Seyfried, 26, recently spoke about her preparations for the risqué role.
She told ABCnews.com: 'It’s going to be really hard and kind of terrifying at the same time.'
She added: 'I do have some liberties there but I am playing someone that existed in history and had quite an established reputation for something very extreme.'
Amanda has also landed a part in the Hollywood version of the hit Broadway show Les Miserables.
