On the morning of May 24, the opening ceremony of the Shanxi Provincial Key Engineering Project High Speed Speeding Shanxi Provincial Laboratory and the groundbreaking ceremony of the Datong (Yanggao) Test Line Project was successfully held.
The ultra-high-speed and low-vacuum pipeline maglev transportation system (high-speed flying car) project is a major decision-making deployment of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee to strengthen scientific and technological innovation and strive to seize the forefront of rail transportation science and technology under the guidance of the "four aspects". The High Speed Speeding Shanxi Laboratory was jointly established by North University of China and the Third Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, focusing on four research directions and the construction of a pilot test base, namely, the overall technology of the high speed speeding system and the multi-field coupling dynamics technology. , Magnetic levitation and linear drive technology, high dynamic detection and intelligent diagnosis technology research, and low vacuum pipeline magnetic levitation high-speed flying car full-scale test line construction. The project will construct a full-scale test line in advance to provide a key technology test platform for low-vacuum pipeline magnetic levitation for ultra-high-speed flying vehicles in the future.
Ma Tiehua, Dean of the School of Electrical and Control Engineering of North University of China, introduced that the high-speed speed car uses superconducting magnetic levitation technology to disengage from the ground to eliminate frictional resistance, and uses internal pipelines close to vacuum to greatly reduce air resistance, so as to achieve 1000 kilometers per hour. The above "close-to-ground flight" has the characteristics of faster, more convenient, more comfortable, safer, and economical and controllable. Ma Tiehua said: "The high-speed speed car can reach a speed of 300 meters per second in one second, which is equivalent to the speed of a traditional bullet. It is really'letting the bullet fly'."
Ma Tiehua introduced that the low vacuum and magnetic levitation technologies used by the high-speed speed car make it have the potential to far exceed the current high-speed rail 350 km/h in terms of speed. In the future, the speed of high-speed flying cars is likely to exceed 1,000 kilometers/hour, and even reach speeds of 3,000 kilometers/hour and 4,000 kilometers/hour.
The high-speed flying car test line project is carried out in accordance with the overall research and development concept of "suspension propulsion first, test carrier research, line platform verification, and step-by-step formation of capabilities".
