China News Service, June 23. According to the Russian Satellite Network report, on the 22nd, Russia commemorated the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War. Russian President Vladimir Putin laid flowers to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier outside the walls of the Moscow Kremlin.

The flower offering ceremony was held in Moscow's Alexander Garden. Before the flowers were laid, Putin paid tribute to the World War II veterans who participated in the ceremony, shook hands with them one by one, and talked with everyone.
Then they walked to the monument to the ever-open fire, and Putin presented a bunch of red roses. Putin also walked to the boulevards of the Hero City and the City of Military Glory in the Alexander Garden and laid flowers on each stone tablet.
On June 22, 1941, German fascists launched a surprise attack on the Soviet Union, and the Soviet Patriotic War broke out.
